Our Airfoil Bearing Turbo Blowers are designed with an innovative cooling system that ensures the efficient operation of key components such as the blower motor, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), and other electrical parts. This system utilizes the blower’s inlet air for cooling, effectively managing the thermal load without the need for additional external cooling mechanisms.

  • Inlet Air Cooling : The system harnesses the incoming air to cool the motor, VFD, and electrical components, maintaining optimal operating temperatures. This design minimizes the risk of overheating and ensures the longevity and reliability of the blower.
  • No Heat Emission : By using the blower’s inlet air for cooling, there is no heat emission from the blower to the surrounding environment. This not only contributes to a more comfortable working environment but also reduces the need for additional ventilation or air conditioning in the installation area.

    Our Airfoil Bearing Turbo Blowers are equipped with a high-efficiency Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) that opmizes the motor’s rotational speed, conserving energy while precisely adjusting discharge pressure and flow rate to meet specific customer requirements. The VFD significantly enhances operational efficiency by providing:

  • Energy Conserva on : By controlling the speed of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), the VFD adjusts the blower’s output to match the demand, reducing energy consumption and operational costs.
  • Smooth Start-Up : The inverter starts below 100% current during initial start-up, ensuring a smooth and gradual ramp-up to operational speed. This reduces mechanical stress and extends the life of the motor and blower components. 
  • Rapid Load Response : The VFD enables quick adjustments to changing load conditions, allowing the blower to maintain optimal performance even when there are fluctuations in system requirements. 
  • Wide Turn-Down Range : With a flow turn-down range of 45% to 100%, the VFD is ideal for large wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) where flow rates frequently change. This adaptability ensures efficient operation across a wide range of conditions.

  • Master Control Panel (MCP) : For enhanced control and monitoring, the Master Control Panel can be used to manage up to 12 blowers simultaneously. This centralized control system provides operators with a single point of management, making it easier to oversee multiple units. Each blower can also be controlled remotely through communication with SCADA systems, offering flexibility and ease of operation.
  • Harmonic Filter : To provide an additional layer of protection against harmonic distortion, we offer an optional Harmonic Filter that can be installed either inside or outside the enclosure of the NX and NC series. This filter ensures that harmonics generated during operation are minimized, keeping THD_V below 5% and THD_I below 8%. This not only protects the blower but also ensures smooth integration into the electrical system, enhancing the overall reliability and performance.
